• I was a broadcasting newsreader, for which perfect Mandarin pronunciation was needed.
• I was a reporter, for which good communication skills are needed. Also experience of dealing with various types of people was acquired, both from a cultural and knowledge level viewpoint.
• I studied in Intercultural Communication and International Business for my MA degree at the University of Surrey. This provided an awareness of cultural differences in business communication.
• I can teach Simplified Chinese Hanyu Pinyin, which is the most common in this market. I also can teach students who want to learn Traditional Mandarin, in the form of the national phonetic alphabet. The latter is regarded as perfect Mandarin pronunciation and is a benefit for further study for written Chinese.
