Hsinchu County American School seeks full-time teachers for 2017-2018 school year. HCAS is a K-12 international school. HCAS offers a North-American curriculum based on Common Core Standards and also offers AP courses. Positions available: middle and high school English, science, math, social studies, foreign language (French, Spanish, Korean or Japanese) and P.E teachers. We require teachers to have knowledge of the American curriculum, preference will be given to those with a valid teaching license and/or Master's degree or above. A professional disposition and a sincere desire to teach whilst working as a team player is a must. HCAS will be implementing a Western calendar with paid Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break and summer vacations, along with Taiwan national holidays. Pay is based on the teacher’s experience at public or registered private schools and qualifications and is competitive with other international schools in Taiwan. HCAS is located in Jubei and is a 5 minute walk from the HSR and Liujia TRA stations, allowing for a convenient commute or easy access to the rest of Taiwan and beyond.
