Alternative preschool in Xinyi District, Taipei is looking for an experienced, team-oriented, early childhood educator to join our growing preschool. ▨ This is a salaried position with paid public holidays! ▨ ARC, National Health Insurance benefits. ▨ Total compensation is worth around NT$65K-NT$80K per month based on experience and credentials. ▨ Pre-written curriculum and activities are provided. ▨ Our play-based curriculum uses the project approach to learning. Children learn about themselves, each other, and the world around them through hands-on, in-depth investigations. ▨ Our preschool values the whole child and we are looking for caring and warm teachers who know that teaching young children is more than just learning ABC and 123. Our written learning objectives include learning in six domains: social-emotional, physical, cognitive, language, literacy, and mathematics. ▨

Teachers have their own classroom for each school year and co-teach with bilingual teachers. SMALL CLASS SIZES of 15 children max. ▨ The hours are 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday-Friday with paid public holidays. Teachers have 20 teaching hours and 12.5 office hours per week. ▨ Candidates must be a passport holder from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, or New Zealand. ▨ Bachelor’s degree is required. Bachelor's degree in early childhood education is preferred. ▨ At least two-to-three years of classroom preschool/kindergarten teaching experience. ▨ Please send us a cover letter, resume, and a recent photo.
