The Company:
The Learning Avenue (or TLA) is a small, government-registered English school located in Tianmu, Shilin District, Taipei City. We have been in business for 12 years. We differ from other English schools in that we have small classes. We believe that quality is more important than quantity! Our staff is like our family. We believe in working hard, but that having a life outside of work is vital!

The Position:
We're looking for a confident and outgoing Taiwanese national who is fluent in Chinese, has good English skills, and holds any degree from a college or university in Taiwan.

(We can only accept applications from Taiwanese citizens holding Taiwanese university degrees as per Department of Education regulations.)

Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
10:00-18:30

Responsibilities include:
• Answering phone calls
• Acting as liaison between the school and parents
• Picking up students from the nearby elementary school
• Supervising a small group of students while they do their elementary school homework
Also practicing English reading and phonics with them
• Posting photos and announcements to our Facebook page
• Prepping the school for class in the mornings
• Dealing with documents from any government agency
