Hello! I'm TEFL-certified with a passion for teaching. I have been an English teacher for over 8 years now. During 2 of those years, I taught English online to Asian students of all ages (3 years - adults). I have over 11 years of work experience in American customer service and sales as I've worked for US-based companies where I was able to develop essential skills in communicating effectively with different kinds of people in English. I am very knowledgeable about English grammar, Business English, speaking, and test preparation. I have tutored many adults, and even helped some pass their job interviews and get a promotion due to their improved confidence and communication skills. I am also very good with kids - I am experienced at keeping children focused while learning, while still having fun as well. Currently living in Longtan, Taoyuan but I'm willing to take any clients within a 40-minute commute away. I charge NT$500 for online instruction and NT$700 an hour for home visits. I am an American and have completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point and a Masters of Science in Geospatial Information Science (GIS) at the University of Southern California. I am currently completing my Doctorate at NTU in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Because of this, I am currently not looking for a full-time position.
